Dr. Rabiqa Saleem

With a diverse and comprehensive professional background, I have been serving as an Assistant Professor at Iqra University, Karachi. I am employ of Iqra university north campus since 2019. Additionally, in January 2022, I briefly assumed the role of the Acting Head of the Physiotherapy Department. My clinical experience includes working as a Physiotherapist at Altamash Hospital, specifically in the Bodyworks Physiotherapy department managed by Epic Management, LLC USA, from December. I have also held the position of Consultant Physiotherapist at Alhasam Medical Centre. Furthermore, I contributed as a Lecturer at SBB Dewan Institute of Rehabilitation and Sciences in Karachi. My early career involved various roles as a Physiotherapist and Internee Physiotherapist at Kharadar General Hospital, Alhasam Medical Centre in Sanghar, MNI Rehabilitation, and Pakistan Navy Shifa Hospital. In addition to my professional roles, I have actively participated in research and academic activities, including completing the HEC research capacity building, earning a certificate in “Understanding of Korean Healthcare System” in 2020. Notably, several of my research works have been published in reputable journals, contributing to the understanding of topics such as chronic pain, healthcare leadership, body image perception, and various musculoskeletal issues.
