What is IU CORE?

The Iqra University’s Centre of Research and Entrepreneurship (CORE) is a pioneering hub dedicated to nurture innovation and transformational initiatives at the juncture of research and entrepreneurship. The centre serves as a catalyst for the convergence of visionary ideas and practical implementation, propelling the journey from ideation to execution. IU CORE offers tailored programs, mentorship, and incubation facilities that support the entrepreneurial journey from ideation to market launch. Our aim is to equip budding entrepreneurs with the skills, resources, and networks necessary to thrive in the competitive landscape. We are committed to foster innovation that makes a meaningful difference in society. CORE actively engages with industry partners, government bodies, and the local community to address pressing challenges and create impactful solutions. How can I apply for incubation?
Incubation applications become available one month before the commencement of each incubation cycle. To apply, simply use the provided Google link, complete the necessary information, and proceed through the application process.
I have a startup idea. Can you help me?
We Support startups enrolled in IU Core Cohorts. such as our community outreach initiatives and mentorship-driven incubation programs. We invite you to learn more about our offerings and decide which would be most beneficial to you at this point in your business’s development.
Can you fund my startup?
No, as a University’s incubation center, we do not provide direct funding to startups. We create channels of potential funding for our startups. As an incubated startup, you get the opportunity to pitch to VC/Angel Investors. We also connect you to other potential investors.
How long is the incubation period?
The incubation period of IU Core is 6 months.
What kind of curriculum is followed during the incubation period and who is involved in teaching?
We follow a wide range of topics from Entrepreneurship to financial planning to idea pitching. All these sessions are conducted by the industry mentors.
What happens after my incubation period is over?
After the incubation period is over, startups have the opportunity to join our alumni network and continue to receive support and guidance. This includes access to our network of mentors and investors, as well as ongoing investor summits, workshops and training sessions.

Iqra University currently enrolled students , Alumni Faculty members & Staff of Iqra University belonging to any department or faculty.
