Biography

“My professional journey has been marked by various roles and experiences that have shaped my understanding and proficiency in the field.
Currently, I proudly serve as a Lecturer in the Department of Health Sciences at IQRA University North Campus, a position I’ve held since August 2022. Prior to this, my journey led me to the Karachi Institute of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences (KIPRS), where I served as a Lecturer from July 2021 to July 2022. Before stepping into the academic sphere, I contributed to the healthcare landscape as a Clinical Therapist at Ameen Medical & Dental Center from January 2019 to June 2021.
My commitment to providing exemplary patient care is deeply ingrained, and it found its roots during my House Officer (HO) tenure at Dow Hospital OJHA Campus. These transformative experiences exposed me to various facets of physical therapy, including MSK OPD at Awan-e-Tijarat Hospital, Dow University Hospital, Gynae and Obs at Civil Hospital Karachi, MSK ward at Ashfaq Memorial Hospital Karachi, Neuro ward at Zia Uddin Hospital Karachi, Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre, and Cardio ward at JPMC.
In the realm of research, I have actively contributed to my field. A forthcoming publication in the Turkish Journal of Biology focuses on “”Food Safety Knowledge, Attitude, and Practices of Working Women.”” Additionally, I collaborated on a study examining the effects of aerobic programs on dysmenorrhea severity and contributed to research on Pulmonary Function Tests among university students.
I had the opportunity to present my research at the International Scientific Conference ICSSPEH 2022 Jakarta, where I showcase my work titled “”Comparison between MFR Technique and Manual Therapy for the Management of Plantar Fasciitis: A Randomized Control Trial.””
These experiences improved my skills and helped me understand how to care for patients in different ways. I want to keep growing and using what I’ve learned to help people feel better.”
