Iqra University organised a Pre-departure Orientation Session for the Turkey Exchange Program 2025, an important step for six of our students who have been selected to study at two prestigious institutions in Turkey — Yaşar University and Abdullah Gül University.
Guests and Faculty Participation
The orientation featured Ms Sara Öndeş, International Education Specialist from Yaşar University, who shared useful insights about student life and academic opportunities in Turkey.
From Iqra University, Mr Aseem Majid Rizvi, Registrar, Dr Arshad Aziz, Dean FEST, Dr Mansoor Ebrahim, HoD Software Engineering and Ms Humaira Anwar, Head of International Office, were present to guide and encourage the students.
Students as IU’s Global Representatives
The selected students, along with their parents, expressed great excitement at the opportunity to experience international learning while carrying forward the name of Iqra University and Pakistan. The program ensures 100% transfer of credit hours, allowing the students to continue their IU academic journey seamlessly while gaining international exposure.
Expanding Global Horizons
With partnerships across five universities in four Turkish cities, the exchange program reflects Iqra University’s commitment to preparing students for a global future. Such initiatives not only strengthen academic linkages but also highlight that IU students are capable of thriving anywhere in the world.
